Traveling to Quito:

All pilgrims are required to make their own flight arrangements.

Our Pilgrimage will take place from January 24th - February 2nd.

Many flights arriving in Quito will do so near midnight of January 23. By the time you reach your hotel, you may only have a few hours of sleep before the first dawn procession on January 24. Other flights do have different times of arrival that make it easier.

Arriving in Ecuador at least one day before the novena is a good idea. This allows you to acclimatize yourself to the altitude, and properly rest, before the prayers of the novena begin.

Returning from Quito:

Many airlines depart just after midnight, which means if you book a February 3 flight, you would be going to the airport the night of February 2.

Pilgrims should be very aware of the times of arrival and departure.
